WALKING CLUB
Kudo's to our Activities department for initiating a new program to enhance the health and well-being of our residents and our dedicated staff. Twice a week with music and cheerleaders the residents are encouraged to walk a few steps. Mobility is so important to the elderly. As people lose the ability to walk unaided, they tend to suffer further deterioration that can interfere with other daily living activities. Participants have been rewarded with prizes and a pizza party to celebrate their progress.
