PLAYGROUP WITH A PURPOSE
Those “oohs” and “aahs” that you might hear from our 4th floor Garden Room, are the sounds from our Babies Playgroup. “Playgroup with a Purpose” was the brainstorm of our volunteer, Sara Kogon and her daughter, Marion. Sara and other enthusiastic parents stay in touch via e-mail, and plan their monthly playgroups here at The Home. Accompanied by Harley Tabak (“The Singing CEO”) on his guitar and Shauna Horvath (Volunteer Director and “Songmaster”), the babies are entertained with songs and toys, while the residents get to watch and interact. The playgroup rotates their monthly visits between The Jewish Home and The Zaban Tower.
Interested in having your baby meet new friends, both old and young? We meet once a month at 11:30 am, interact with the residents and then enjoy a picnic lunch together
