-- About Us --
The William Breman Jewish Home has been serving the frail elderly and disabled in our community since 1951. Originally located on 14th Street, the Home moved to a larger, new facility on Howell Mill Road in 1971. In 1999, the doors opened on a new state-of-the-art facility on what is known as the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg campus. Unlike most nursing homes, The William Breman Jewish Home provides a home-like environment with floor to ceiling windows in each resident room, and cheerful garden rooms, spacious living rooms and cozy dining rooms on each floor. Rehabilitation therapy services are located in a fully equipped, newly renovated area overlooking the garden courtyard.
The Home is dependent on charitable contributions to provide all of the residents with the best possible care, regardless of their ability to pay. A beneficiary of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, the Home also has many individual supporters. A bi-annual GALA celebration is presented by The William Breman Jewish Home and the Auxillary of the Home. The proceeds of this event and other fundraising efforts fund several staff positions and supplemental resident programs.
