Who We Are 


About Us

The William Breman Jewish Home has been serving the elderly and disabled in our community since 1951. Originally located on 14th Street, The Home moved to a larger, new facility on Howell Mill Road in 1971. In 1999, the doors opened on a new state-of-the-art facility on what is known as the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Campus.  

Today, The William Breman Jewish Home and its entities are a multifaceted organization providing distinctive levels of care and activities. We focus on caring about the individual and their needs as their level of care requirements change. We provide care that includes:

• Skilled Nursing
• Rehabilitation Services
• Assisted Living
• Independent Living
• Hospice Care

With the growth of the senior population, plans are also under development for another assisted living facility, Berman Commons at Zaban Park.

The Home is dependent on charitable contributions to provide all of the residents with the best possible care, regardless of their ability to pay. A beneficiary of The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, The Home also has many individual supporters. We hope you, too, will consider being part of this caring family through your support.

Over 60 years ago, a dedicated group of individuals were guided by the biblical commandment to “Honour thy father and thy mother.” Those few committed and visionary men and women nurtured a dream and left a legacy. The William Breman Jewish Home has upheld this vision. We invite you to learn more about us and our various services.

Our Mission

The William Breman Jewish Home’s mission is to:

• Provide facilities and services for those elderly and disabled who need long- and short-term physical, psychological and/or social care, in a manner consistent with Jewish values;
  
• Serve as one of the professional resources to the community regarding aging, disabilities and health, and the development of effective approaches to care and services to the aging and disabled;
  
• Provide support services for family members of elderly and disabled either on our waiting list and/or utilizing any service provided by The William Breman Jewish Home.

The Auxiliary 

The Auxiliary is committed to enhancing the lives of the residents of The Home through the integral role they play in volunteerism and fundraising. Their signature fundraising events include the bi-annual GOLDEN GALA proceeds of which help fund several professional positions and supplement resident programs.
