What We Offer

Jewish Home Life Communities

What began as The William Breman Jewish Home has expanded and grown over the past 60+ years to become Jewish Home Life Communities, a comprehensive system of life care communities and services that meets the many needs of seniors and their families. Each of our communities has its own name and identity, but will also be further identified as a Jewish Home Life Community. From long term care, independent and assisted living to rehabilitation, home care and hospice, Jewish Home Life Communities provides care and resources for generations.

  The William Breman Jewish Home

The William Breman Jewish Home
For long- and short-term care, The Home offers skilled nursing in a five-star rated Medicare and Medicaid certified facility. We have been providing skilled nursing care for over 60 years. As one of Atlanta’s leading senior residential care providers, we are committed to providing a warm, caring and homelike environment, which focuses on the individual, 24 hours a day to enhance the quality of life of its residents.

  Aviv Rehabilitation Center

Whether you are recovering from orthopedic surgery, post-surgical complications or a disabling illness such as stroke or heart attack, the Aviv Rehabilitation Center staff members create individualized programs to meet residents' needs. We help seniors relearn the skills necessary for return to independence.

The Cohen Home

The Cohen Home, located in Johns Creek, Georgia, is an assisted living community with a caring, supportive environment that encourages each resident to live as independently as possible. Our distinctive, coordinated care approach is a hallmark of the service provided to residents and their families. The Cohen Home has 42 apartments of which 13 are for residents with more significant physical or cognitive impairments (Extra Care Unit).

The Zaban Tower

Located on the same campus as The Home's Skilled Nursing facility, The Zaban Tower offers low-income seniors who meet certain requirements (set by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development) the opportunity to live independently in either a one-bedroom or studio apartment. Zaban Tower residents enjoy an active, healthy social life.

The One Group

The One Group provides a solution for families needing private home care and companies seeking supplemental medical staffing.

The Vi and Milton Weinstein Hospice

The Vi and Milton Weinstein Hospice provides compassionate end-of-life care, reflecting the traditional Jewish concern for the dignity and uniqueness of each human life. Our mission is to provide comfort and the highest quality of care to terminally ill individuals and their families.

  Meyer Balser NORC

Modeled on the Naturally Occurring Retirement Community (NORC) model set by The Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, The Meyer Balser NORC offers a comprehensive health-focused program of case management and social work to assist and empower neighborhood seniors to “age in place.”

  Berman Commons

Slated to open in early 2015, Berman Commons will be an assisted living and memory care community located adjacent to the campus of the Marcus Jewish Community Center of Atlanta (MJCCA), in Dunwoody. All residents will receive complimentary membership to the MJCCA, kosher meals and concierge-style care.
